Part 5 of 7: WEAPON X #10

Oh good, this one'll be quick.

Weapon X #10 is part IV of "The Underground" and it's pretty much what we've come to expect.  Now that Sabretooth is gone, Frank Tieri has finally remembered that Marrow shouldn't be too keen on him (what with him having slaughtered the Morlocks), so she gets despatched to hunt him down.  Meanwhile, Nathan's power control problems from Soldier X are remembered, and he has an unfortunate stab at reading Reaper and Wildside's minds.

Meanwhile, the Director's character goes on yet another wildly implausible moodswing as he apparently realises for the first time that he's dating a mutant and promptly decides to stove her head in.  Aside from the implausibility of him getting very far against Aurora, more fundamental is the fact that it's hard to care much about a character whose personality lurches around this drastically.  Tieri would doubtless argue that he's nuts, but he's using insanity as a get-out clause for artificial, plot-advancing behaviour rather than as a true character trait.

Generally, it's another mediocre issue, really.
